The successful results that were delivered in the third quarter of 2015 mainly derived from accurate planning and carefully but rapidly taking actions. Despite that the neighbor countries still struggle with instabilities, volatility in the currencies and political uncertainty in Turkey, our conservative and decisive approach with our experience and vision gained throughout the years together with our strong brand and operational structure enabled us to achieve these successful results.

Particularly throughout in each quarter in 2015, our sales and profitability elevated. Following the achievement of highest profitability margin in the second quarter of 2015, once more in the third quarter we enjoyed the highest margin over the entire third quarter profitability margins in our corporate history.

Operating profit increased by 33% to TL 272 million thanks to our intensive efforts to focus in efficiency and managing the  channels effectively.

Following Ülker Bisküvi’s sustainability practices, Borsa Istanbul is included Ülker Bisküvi into BIST Sustainability Index. As being the first food company listed in the sustainability index, motivates us to focus more in our practices.

While we are in investing in sustainability, we target to maximize shareholder value by managing intangible assets including our human capital, brand and reputation value, and innovation culture.
